i’ve got nothing more to say to you men
we’ve got fear in our pockets and hate in our hands
as the screens get darker, the giants will fall
swirl and die for the sins of us all
as night approaches, the vessels envisioned
we’ll crawl on up out of our prisons
and scream and shout and whisper and whine
as the crowds die down due to genocide
i’m a good american, i love my country
yet, i’m smart enough to fear its corporate greed
as the hands on deck reach for liberty’s neck
many are there to defend and protect
while you leaders sit in dining rooms
drink and eat lots of food
talk about stocks and bonds
and claim the economy is strong
while good people fight and die
just to save your hides
you’re so wrong
“there’s got to be something better than all of this.”

when the sun has reached its end
and we’re in the dark again
and the waves come crashin’ in
when the clouds block the sky
and you’re not so sure you’ll survive
i will meet you by the sea
when you’ve lost your faith and your hope
and your fear has got you by your throat
i will be waiting for you by the sea
i have little left, just fragile bones,
a beaten six-string body and the unknown,
but i will still meet you by the sea
in my words i hope, you’ve found some truth
either way, i’m glad they reached you
and i hope you’ll meet me by the sea
thanks for listenin’ and for your time
remember to hold your head up real high
when the waves come crashin’ in

In 2006, I decided to do a podcast show. While doing the show was great and I had a blast, I stopped doing it to pursue other things. These are the remains of that endeavor. Enjoy:)
